With over 20 years of professional experience both in Norway and internationally, I have successfully managed a diverse portfolio of projects spanning educational architecture, housing, large-scale commercial developments, urban environments, masterplans, and infrastructure design.

I don't think buildings are just iconic statements. I think they're social and technical systems that happen to also be beautiful, when the design is doing its job. A school is a system for learning that has to keep the rain out. A subway station is a system for moving people that has to feel safe at midnight. A masterplan is a system for fitting a neighbourhood into a city without breaking either one. On most projects my job is to hold those layers in view at the same time, and keep any one of them from drowning out the others.
